Housing for All

These signs up in the San Antonio neighborhood in East Oakland call for tenants rights and affordable housing, which is great. At this point, I support the impact/development fees initiative, which would require market rate developers to pay a percentage of projected profits towards low income housing in the city.  

I think that at this point in Oakland we're going to get gentrifed development plus nothing,  or gentrified development plus money towards low income housing.  I know which I prefer.
