Pretty Polly

Why are parrots known as Polly anyway?  I have no idea, but this is a mighty fine one. It's on a long wall next to the Fruitvale BART station and there's a lovely series of animals and figures all along the wall by several street artists. Keep your eye out for more posts from the wall. I don't know who painted the parrot, but the circle is by David Polka, #slowcoolassault, and the smaller bird might be by Ernest Doty or by David, not sure.
