Red Rock Canyon

What a beautiful representation of Utah's red rock canyons on this wall on the west side of Salt Lake City. The first pic is a close up and the second shows how big it really is, with a car trailer in front of the mural. I kind of appreciate the symbolism of this image with a truck coming in to develop industry on this pristine land.

And to further that idea, after this mural was painted, someone came and added this sign to the mural, Open Land For Sale - oil gas mining. Utah has an ongoing bad track record of welcoming mining companies to move right into wild lands!!
