Life in the 30s Art Deco Style

This morning I went to the San Francisco airport and was delighted to see an exhibit of objects representing life in the 1930s, a very art deco time.  Is was large for an airport exhibit and reminded me of the Poirot murder mystery that I watched last night.  These are some highlights of the clever sets they created in that time,  a portable cocktail set,  and a gorgeous picnicking set. And then some of the tools that ladies and gentlemen used to stay looking so fabulous.  Silver handled brushes,  detachable collars,  pocket watches and gold powder compacts,  divine!
