Sweet Auburn

Murals from the Sweet Auburn neighborhood in Atlanta. This area is a long time African American neighborhood and it's great to see that reflected in the art. First pic commemorates Evelyn Lowery who was one of the first founders of the women's wing of the Southern Christian Leadership Coalition. 

The second mural is by risingredlotus, and the final one is a really cool hand painted ad for a movie. I saw several hand painted ads in Atlanta and I ws very impressed.
